Biography
Kyle Bumgarner is a skilled litigator focusing on commercial and employment law. He has a proven track record of successfully representing businesses, shareholders, directors and officers in federal and state courts. His experience includes handling various business-related claims such as breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, fraud, tortious interference with contract, piercing the corporate veil, fraudulent conveyance and defamation.
Kyle takes immense pride in guiding his clients through their most challenging legal issues, understanding the significant impact these cases can have on their jobs, businesses, reputation and finances. He is a zealous advocate when the situation calls for it and a resourceful problem-solver when necessary.
Kyle has extensive experience in litigating and advising on employment issues. He has represented both employees and employers in cases involving breach of contract, wrongful termination, harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation and noncompete matters. He has appeared before federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies such as the U.S. Department of Labor and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Additionally, Kyle provides practical solutions to employers on human resources issues, helping them effectively manage their workforce. He is frequently requested by his employer clients to conduct seminars for their employees.

He obtained his undergraduate degree from Centre College. Kyle graduated cum laude and was a four-year letterman for the football team. Later, he graduated first in his class from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law. During his time there, he served as the managing editor of the school's law journal.
After completing law school, he had the privilege of serving three terms as a law clerk to Judge David Bunning of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. To kickstart his legal career, he joined Fultz, Maddox, Hovious and Dickens in Louisville, Kentucky, as an associate. His practice primarily focused on commercial litigation and health care law.
Kyle's childhood was characterized by constant moves due to his Army background, preventing him from establishing a sense of home. His mother's words, "Home is where the Army sends you," echoed in his mind. However, a change has occurred, and he now proudly considers Bowling Green to be his permanent residence. Kori, his wife, holds the esteemed position of a local prosecutor, and together they find immense happiness in nurturing their beloved son, Bronson.
