Biography

Luke is a seventh-generation Kentuckian from Logan County. For his undergraduate studies, he attended Centre College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Upon graduating, Luke joined his family’s business in Wuhan, China, which specialized in industrial environmental technology. He later returned to the U.S. to oversee local fabrication and led installation projects across the states and in Mexico. In 2019 he enrolled at Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee where he served in the Student Bar Association and participated on the Mock Trial Team. After completing his legal studies in 2022, he worked as a Staff Attorney for the 8th Judicial Circuit Court of Kentucky under Judges John Grise and Steve Wilson.

Luke has a background in business and corporate matters, general civil litigation, probate, domestic law, and criminal defense. He also practices in the areas of insurance litigation and construction.

Luke is married to Wenjing Li, a native of Chengdu, China. Together they live in Russellville, Kentucky on the Wetton family farm. When not working, Luke spends his time tinkering, cooking, and reading. He is an avid genealogist and lover of history.
