Latest Supreme Court COVID Order

On November 20, 2020, the Kentucky Supreme Court entered Administrative Order 2020-72 which address the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and access to Kentucky courts. Under the order, all trials, both criminal and civil, are postponed until at least February 1, 2021. In addition, the Court has held that all grand jury proceedings will be conducted remotely until further order. Residential and commercial eviction actions may proceed but must comply with the provisions of the Federal CARES Act. Judicial sales of property may be conducted remotely by local Master Commissioners.
