Kerrick Bachert Attorney Matthew P. Cook has been re-elected for a second two-year term on the Kentucky Bar Association’s Board of Governors. The Board of Governors is the governing body of the KBA; two lawyers from each of the seven Supreme Court districts in Kentucky are elected to represent their fellow attorneys on the Board. The Board hears attorney discipline cases and conducts the business of the State Bar Association which has nearly 19,000 members. Matt will begin his new term on July 1, 2020 after taking the oath of office at the KBA’s annual convention in Northern Kentucky this summer. In addition, Attorney Tom Kerrick will also be recognized at the KBA convention this summer and take the oath of office as the new KBA President for 2020-21.
